Our Founders: The Story Behind Tots

Ursula Puppin
Ursula Puppin’s story begins in marketing and entrepreneurship, where she learned that building meaningful brands goes beyond strategy. It’s about purpose, care, and real impact.
After bringing the renowned Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage to Canada and founding Casa Uma in Toronto, she became known for combining technique, science, and intuition to help people feel their best.
Her work was always driven by one goal: helping people feel confident in their own skin. But motherhood introduced her to needs she hadn’t fully seen before.
While building her businesses and raising two young children, Felipe, now 4, and Olivia, just 8 months old, Ursula experienced firsthand how demanding everyday life can be and how hard it is to provide truly healthy, nutritious food consistently.
Through this experience, she discovered the importance of the First 1,000 Days, the critical window from pregnancy through a child’s second birthday, when nutrition shapes lifelong health. What began as a personal struggle quickly became a clear mission.
Guided by her entrepreneurial background and her journey as a mother, Ursula created Tots to make early childhood nutrition simpler, more reliable, and rooted in care, for parents doing their best every day.

Bruno Wollmann
Chef Bruno Wollmann’s story begins in his family’s Brazilian restaurant, where he learned that cooking is more than technique: it’s care, presence, and memory.
He honed his culinary skills in Toronto, training under renowned chefs and developing a philosophy focused on honest flavours and seasonal ingredients, with an emphasis on simplicity. Bruno then spent six years teaching culinary college students, sharing his technical expertise and belief that food should be both skillful and heartfelt.
Four years ago, his life changed when he became a full-time single father. Navigating sleepless nights, chaotic schedules, and little hands in the kitchen, he discovered a deeper kind of love and the real challenges of feeding children healthily.
From this experience, Tots was born: a mission to create wholesome, convenient meals for children while supporting parents in their fast-paced everyday routines.
Bruno combines his Brazilian roots, professional expertise, teaching experience, and parenthood journey to make children’s nutrition simpler, healthier and full of love.
